This trek is most suitable for young poeple, not so for elders or families with young children.

We do this tour every day. As tranport we use pick-ups.

Pick-up time at your hotel or guest-house is about 08:00 to 08:30 h.

The trek goes to the north-west of Chiang Mai. After we have picked up all our guests we will drive about 40 min to an orchid and butterfly farm. Then we will drive to the elephant camp. From there we will make an elephant ride through the jungle for about an hour. After the elephant ride we will hike through the mountains to a jungle waterfall (about 1h) where we will take a break. After the break we will hike to a Shan village (about 1h) where we will have lunch. After lunch you can make an exciting whitewater ride down Mae Taeng River for about 1 hour and a ride on a bamboo raft down Mae Taeng River for about 30 minutes. On our way back we will visit a village of the Akha hilltribe.

We will be back in Chiang Mai at about 17:30 hours.
