This trek is suitable for all ages and families with children.
We do this tour every day. As tranport we use pick-ups.
Please provide a copy of your passport (identification page).
Pick-up time at your hotel or guest-house is about 09:00 to 09:30 h.
The trek goes to the south-west of Chiang Mai.
Day 1:
After we have picked up all our guests we will drive about 1 hour to Mae Wang elephant camp (stopover at local
market to buy food). From there we will make an elephant ride through the jungle for about an hour. We will have lunch
in a local restaurant in a Shan village. After lunch we will hike through the jungle to a private waterfall (about 2h)
where we will take a break. You can swim or take a shower there. After the break we will hike to a "White Karen"
hilltribe village (about 45min) where we will stay overnight with a family.
Day 2:
After breakfast we will hike along a jungle stream (about 2h) to a waterfall and take a break there. Then we will
hike to the Shan village (about 45min) to have lunch. At last we will make an exciting ride down Mae Wang stream on a
bamboo raft for about an hour.
We will be back in Chiang Mai at about 16:30 hours.
